Do Not Tell is a self-help awareness book for kids on sexual abuse and harassment. We must protect and educate our children and every child.
Regardless of race, gender, faith, or class, child sexual abuse is a worldwide problem. Perpetrators of child sexual abuse are often related to the victims. The effects of child sexual abuse can be long-lasting and affect the victim’s mental health and perception of love. A child who is the victim of prolonged sexual abuse usually develops low self-esteem, a feeling of worthlessness and an abnormal or distorted view of sex. The child may become withdrawn and mistrustful of adults, and can become suicidal.
HOW CAN WE DO BETTER? Again, let’s think better, be better, and do better. Every child, tween, teen, and young adult deserve to be properly loved and protected.
